Sync Problems after Creating Partnership
You may not be able to sync your device after performing a clean install of the Windows Mobile Device Center application. This problem may occur when during the installation, the application fails to add and enable the required firewall exceptions for Windows Mobile Device Center on your system.
To add these exceptions, perform the following steps:
- Open Start menu, select Run, type firewall.cpl and then press Enter.
- Select the Allow a Program through the Windows Firewall.
- Select all entries with Windows Mobile in the name.
- Click the OK button to apply your changes and close the dialog box.
