Problem When Running Both Windows Defender and Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)

You may encounter problems if both Windows Defender and Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) are installed on the same computer because, by default, Windows Defender setup files are installed in the same folder as the Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) setup files.

Resolution Steps

To prevent and resolve this problem from occurring on your PC, you must uninstall Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) before installing Windows Defender.
