How to Use WSUS to Deploy Windows Defender Definitions UpdatesMicrosoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) is used to deploy definition updates on computers that have the Windows Defender installed on them. The features of the latest WSUS 3.0 make the task of management and deployment of Windows Defender updates across the network quite simple for system administrators. The package comprises the WSUS 3.0 Server and WSUS 3.0 Administration Console components. The product is available for all languages supported by Windows Server 2003. The package also includes the WSUS 3.0 client, for all supported languages. Where WSUS 3.0 Server can be installed on Windows Server 2003 SP1, the Administration Console can be installed on any remote computer on your network that is running Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, or Windows Vista operating system.
