Windows 98 Shutdown Problems

Windows 98 shutdown problems are usually caused due to the following reasons:
  • Damaged, conflicting, and incompatible device drivers.
  • Problems in the exit sound file.
  • Problems with a hardware
To resolve Windows 98 shutdown (and restart) problems, open the Windows 98 Startup and Shutdown Troubleshooting Wizard by clicking the following link:

To work with this wizard, select the option that describes your problem the best and proceed according to the instructions.
